Colorful Speech

This Audio Visualization program analyzes speech content, associating colors and/or shapes with words (ie. light colors to express positive; dark colors to express negative), in the same way that audio visualization programs use volume and pitch on music.

       I am positive that this would in no way be able to parse the meaning out of language where the positive and negative were used in close association.   

       It would have no trouble whatsoever with sarcasm.   

       It would also be wicked if it could handle idiomatic usage.

       My friend Dr. Noam Amir has developed a system like this that listens to your "emotions" in speech and gives a number quantifying several parameters such as anger, fear, sorrow and stress.
