These disposable gloves have a hand sanitizing
agent on
them that lasts for several hours. When the agent is no
longer
effective, the color changes indicating that they need to
be
changed.
One thing I like about this is that, during a pandemic, if
enough people are wearing them they're
effectively
sanitizing commonly touched surfaces.
Rather than strictly playing defense, civilization has a
weapon to go on the offensive against these viral
pandemics.
We'll fight them in the grocery aisles, the gas stations,
the bars, the shops and anywhere else they might hide in
wait.
Sometimes you need to quit hiding fight back. This might
be one way to do it. Wearing masks and these gloves,
every citizen is a soldier against this plague.

Yea, was thinking about that. |

Just get stronger toxins I guess. |

Free chlorine is an effective biocide (as are the other halogens), and because of its simplicity and mechanism of action organisms can't easily develop any meaningful resistance- but it's volatile, and toxic to humans, too. |

A balance between toxicity and effectiveness has always been the great challenge in that field. |
