how about a *rope* from fog and lasers, to make the contraption less lawsuit-prone? |
|
|
To make this health-conscious, kids sitting and watching could be given a joystick to move back and forth to cause the rope to swing. |

Very nice. Be sure it is robust enough that little kids can hang on the rope close to the motor and ride it up and down. |

because for the price you could buy every kid their own jump rope that they could play with however they wanted. And because jump ropes might wear out, but they never need their coin hopper emptied or their motor replaced. Akin to a coin operated basket ball hoop. "kids won't have to fight about whose turn it is, because they won't be playing with it!" |

smart kids who want to jump rope are going to pinch their coins and buy/make their own. you are trying to sell icemakers to the Inuit. |

I could see wind-up double dutch being a hit. |

I like this especially for children who don't have
siblings. Then they don't have to sit forlornly by
the side of the road with jump rope in hand and
tears running down their face cause there is no
one to play with. Besides who wants to play with
a damn Barbie Doll anyway!!! Oops...I mean jump
rope. |

children without siblings. kind of like 'doctors without borders,' only sadder. :( |

Triples was the best I could ever do. However by periodically varying turn speed, it should be possible for the rope to pass under the jumper many, many times on each jump. You would need to accelerate the turns on jumper takeoff, then slow it down as the feet came back near the ground. |
