I haven't yet seen an effective use of the land inside a cloverleaf. Nor have I heard a good reason for not using that land.
This would be the perfect place for large, 3D art installations.
(You know, except for drivers who actually look at the art and fall off the road...)

Coming from the UK I had never heard of these cloverleaves of which you speak. I thought you meant the actual plants. With that in mind, it's quite funny. |

how about a giant statue of the Cloverfield Monster, Godzilla, or T-rex holding the road up instead of the verticle columns. Maybe that could be your entrance to downtown where all the nightlife is. |

This is a sorta sad "why don't people do nice things idea" since there is nothing clover-leaf specific to the idea of "more sculpture in public places". Why not put the artwork someplace you can stop and look at it? Is rushing past and not being safe to look at part of the idea? What about the vandalism that this would attract? Is that all part of the concept? Please expand on the idea. |
