You know those lamps that turn on when you enter the room and clap your hands? How about some that clap back---playing the sound of an entire audience clapping? Imagine how good this would make you feel after a while.

My granny had a tapping lamp. It was brass and ugly with an off-white lampshade. If you tapped it anywhere on the base up to where the shade starts it would do one of three things; low light, high, and off.
I tapped that thing repeatedly until granny told me about the affect it had on her siezures. |

Isn't there a problem with this? As soon as the sound of the audience clapping started to play, wouldn't the lamp turn itself off? |
