Choco-loids are the mathematical candy with the sensual edge. Each candy is actually an oloid, a mathematical solid with a single continuous face. (Please see link)
Each choco-loid is coated with a colorful hard candy shell that is printed with a wire-frame construction of an oloid, to give it that
high-tech look. (Please see same link, and scroll to the image on the lower right.)
Right out of the bag, the candies make great marble-like toys (you can hold oloid races by releasing a pair of them at the top of a tilted book, and watch them "walk" down the book), but we think you'll want to pop them right in your mouth.
Choco-loids are just the right size to enjoy one at a time. As you roll the oloid in your mouth, you discover that the one continuous surface of the oloid never leaves the surface of your tongue, while the upper surface traces sinuous S-curves along your palate. Feel it gently sway back and forth against your inner cheeks and tongue, seeking out every tastebud. Even as it melts, the oloid happily rolls along your tongue in a continuous, ever-varying dance.
One oloid can roll around another oloid, but it takes a nimble tongue! This has spawned the popular drinking game, "Rolly-Olly."

which edge is the sensual edge? i want to get straight to the good bit. |
I was thinking of the two half-moon shaped edges. They gently tease your tongue with each quarter-turn of the candy. |
[UnaBubba], can something that thick be a solution? Maybe it's several solutions, in an emulsion with melty cocoa butter. |
See link for a 3D printer that prints using edable organic
powder. (the candies would cost about 70 dollars a
square foot plus 60 thousand dollars for the machine.) |
Maybe there would be a way to roll them. |
To manufacture, mold the chocolate using a two-part bicone mold with one part twisted 90 degrees. After molding, roll the chocolate oloids in hard candy coating. |
Or color them flourecent colors and call them Space

First thought on seeing the name: a suppository that produces chocolate scented farts. An improvement, I think... |
Scented fart suppository? Run with it! |

I can hear the jingle running to the tune of Devo's Mongoloid. |
Was that Devo? I thought it was willy wonka. |

and he
buys the bag, and he
sneaks it home, and he
hides the wrapper, so that
no one knows...
chocoloid, he's eating chocoloid
the candy you just wanna keep. |

Candy used to be often coated with shelack, which comes from the secretions of the Lac bug. It dries clear and air tight, but water soluable- so it melts in your mouth. How about your candy??? |
The Choco-loids have a hard candy coating (so that you can have Choco-loid races, without getting chocolate on everything). M&M's (see link) do this without shellac, so Choco-loids shall lack it too. That's the unvarnished truth. |
