Small, yapping, shivering, bat-eared, hypervigilant
shoulder decorations, to match your dog collar and your fox
stole.
Seven chihuahuas of varying colours, mounted on each
shoulder in a sort of inverted, gyroscopically balanced
mobile so as to create a confusing, whirling, yapping,
shivering,
bat-eared, hypervigilant swarm of lapdogs about
one's upper parts. Fourteen chihuahuas in all.
Popular with madcap dictators for life and other similar
megalomaniacal monsters.
(Tip of hat to [Ian Tindale], my muse and to [bigsleep] for
editorial comment.)

[marked-for-deletion] echo |
Suggested category: Public:Punishment:Humiliation. |
Sorry, [hippo], not an echo but a legitimate idea that
happens to combine the hated chihuahua with the
orrery and epaulettes. I happily and readily delete
ideas that are redundant or simply insensitive. I'm
less inclined to willy-nilly destruction of those that
happen to involve HB memes. |
May also be useful for a spot of post-prandial
precision pistolry. |
//happens to combine the hated chihuahua with the orrery and epaulettes// Precisely. Taking two or three words from the titles of some recent ideas and sticking them together might almost make a 'new' idea (similar to the process used by TV execs to come up with new reality shows), but it's very lazy. |
Well, orreries was mine originally and I put
chihuahuas on the map here this week, so I
posted
an idea that used two of my recent concepts. It
may
be lazy but laziness is also a surrogate mother of
invention. |
Not everyone posts ideas to your standards,
[hippo]. |
I would also venture that you have never had
cause to contemplate the possibility of fourteen
live chihuahuas spinning in complicated paths on a
series of long, interconnected levers, around
Muammar Qaddafi's head, prior to reading this
idea. |
I guess that depends upon whether you want to be a
queen, or not. |
Tautology. This presupposes the possibility of a 'liked' chihuahua. |
Even in an infinite Universe, this is not possible. |
[hippo], he used my original idea, almost word for
word, and the title, but nobody calls for it's removal
as an echo. Geessshh. I can't believe this place. I
guess I'll have to do it, but then it looks like sour
grapes. (Or whatever sour fruit you choose.) |
Wearing these could be a good defense against stealth attacks by mimes. |
Do I have to launder them separately before
recycling? |
[bliss], it seems to me that mfd echos won't start
being thrown around until late in the game. So,
one
echo good, two echos bad. There are always
exceptions... |
It is kinda surprising, [infidel], that you're claiming
inventive rights (or whatever that argument was
for) to the chihuahua and the orrery. Upon
investigation it appears that you don't have earlier
ideas then others posted. |
I support your desire to combine memes. It is the
job of us halfbakers to determine which
combinations are favorable and which are not.
Some will evoke a nausea that is only abated with
typing those magical letters: m, f, and d. Others
may elicit mirth and further creative zeal. In those
times may ye find bread. + |
I bet you could use custard as a sort of fluid
bearing between flat plates so that a natural gait
would set all the little rats into spins. |
Maybe I just don't like the idea of being pushed
around by the Idea Nazis. They make claims like "I
was just doing my job" and "I don't hate the
protestors, I just shoot them" but it's the same result
in the end. |
[daseva], I could have included pirates, mimes,
custard, banjos, sphericons and paintballs but I
didn't. It wasn't about the memes, it was about the
idea. |
