You know this would sell.

A "wee" bit higher alcohol content. [Klaatu, Nov 24 2011]

FDA Warning Letters issued to four makers of caffeinated alcoholic beverages http://www.fda.gov/...ments/ucm234109.htm
Just thought I'd toss this in. Some of these have as much as 12% alcohol and are sold in rather large single serving cans at gas stations, enough to get anyone inebriated while travelling. I think we have a social obligation to get the caffeine out of these and make them smell fresh. [jmvw, Nov 24 2011]

So the idea would be that it would cover the smell of the alchohol? I can just imagine someone being pulled over... "Sir, have you been chewing gum?"

Well, yes and no. Maybe that is a part of it. It could just smell strongly of aftershave or perfume, or gasoline, but I'm not sure that would appeal to buyers. So I propose we start with spear mint and winter green.

It's both scent and flavor, and it's sold in cans at gas stations, along with the strongly caffeinated alcoholic beverages (the heart attack section) and the psilocybin ice tea.

Chewing gum comes in hundreds of flavours. [see link for some] (I hadn't heard about ketchup before!) I'm not sure why you'd want to sell your product at gas stations anyway...unless it was a liquid additive to your gas tank! Then your car could smell like something nice whilst burning gas!

Who said it wasn't in the alcohol section? Also, I assume bubble, xandram.

       [marked-for-deletion] flavour.

I'd bun a chewing gum which release alcohol over a period of time while being chewed.
