Checkmate Suit

wearable chess game

Checkmate Suit is covered with black and white squares to enable the suit wearer to facilitate very odd games of chess. It comes with a set of chess pieces with velcro bases to ensure that they don't fall off when moved from one location to another.

Being a fully 3 D structure, but with a 2 dimensional surface mapping, the game is more complex and offers numerous rule variations.

In its most basic form, the arms and legs are excluded, and the game simply involves the front and back of the main torso, with one set of pieces beginning in a vertical line at the front and other at the back. An alternative starting point is with the pieces facing each other horizontally at the neck and waist band, with them able to move around in the space afforded by the person's back.

Knight to fifth vertebrae - check!

If you got one for your spouse, you would have a check mate.

Sighs.... they're all geniuses, of course.

Can there be pet names for the squares? "Darling , please pawn kneadley ... strongly, and I'll resign"

+ but, to avoid disruption of the game, it's probably best to have the chess pieces as flat counters rather than sticky-out chess pieces.

Yet somehow not one of these geniuses thought of printing and tailoring a suit that enabled a person to become a living, walking, talking chess game, unless you can show me an example of such a garment?

I like this because I am so eager to see how you move the pieces when your /arms and legs are excluded/. It would require some precision wiggling to be sure. Can we put on music?

[bigs], you should really need to start smoking again.

[xen], the surface of the human body is, topologically, a sphere*. Or a cube. So, you might as well play this on a cubical chess board. The only useful topological variable offered by the human body is the ability to swallow a piece and have it pop out on a completely different square.

*I know this to be true because I have been to the mid-west.

I'm going to have to ask you to reflect on the changes that occur to the surface when the person wearing the game puts their hands in their pockets, or their foot in their mouth, or even their finger up their bum. [bigsleep - take a chill pill or try the finger meets bum and pretends to be a worm trick - it's only a halfbaked idea :-)
