What's it called when the one face turns into the next, like that Jacko video "Black or White"? |
|
|
Might be pretty wicked to have your channel changer do it, anyway. |

A morph? I think that's what it's called. The trouble is, you need to (or at least you used to need to) define anchor points that linked the two images together - like eyes, tip of nose etc. What with image recognition in the state it's in today, you may be able to do this automatically, I don't know. Would be interesting [daseva] |

I'd like digital radio to segue like that. |

Here's how I interpret it. I'm lounging about on my day off, sort of sleeping, sort of not, kind of watching my soap opera, kind of not. I look up and the male lead, strong, dark and sensational, is on the screen. |

As I lean over to give claire a pat, my elbow changes the station by mistake. To my horror, I look up and my hunky soap stud is becoming dimmer, and dimmer, and now has faded into a shadowy Michael Jackson, walking out of a courthouse. + |

Incorporate the "swirl" effect: Commercials (adverts) spiral down into a porcelain bowl, complete with flushing sound (perhaps with additional noises t/b/d by the viewer). |
