I think this is a great idea [+]. A laptop made out of one of
those magnetic-powder writing thingies (you know...) would
have a lot of appeal too. |

Here's hoping you have a way to make it shatter-proof. Slate is incredibly brittle. Chalkboard paint would be better. |

Laptops are the reason that most schools went away from chalkboards in the first place. The dust is killer. |
