Having one's cellphone catch on fire is certainly an inconvenience, but surely the uncertainty as to when this will happen is the major cause of concern. The most straightforward way to alleviate this anxiety is to install an app which schedules the fire at a set time no less than 48 hours from now. This allows the owner to perform all necessary backups and remove the phone from their house, car, airplane or whatever and place it in a bucket of sand in the backyard.
