I'd like to suggest two improvements in the interface:
1) When clicking on New while browsing a category (as opposed to a specific idea), the idea lands in the category, just like it does when you actually click into another idea.
2) When categories have sub categories, it would be great to be
able to navigate that tree from the top right category display
