Read in the news a few days ago (see 2nd link) that a pair of
murderers escaped
from an Arkansas jail by cutting through the bars on the window
with a pair of smuggled in hacksaw blades and climbing down
with
a pair of mattress covers tied together, secured inside the cell.
ARE YOU FUCKING
KIDDING
ME???????? HAVE THE GUARDS
AT
THIS JAIL REALLY NEVER SEEN A SINGLE BUGS BUNNY
CARTOON?????????
Well folks, that's the big idea. A new mandatory training
curriculum
for jailhouse guards that includes watching 4 hours of classic
violent cartoons every day for 2 weeks.
Buleep badeep badeep, uh... that's all folks.
The article referred to
http://www.cbsnews....-ark-jail-say-cops/ This one says they jumped from the 2nd story window, but the original article says they climbed out using tied-together mattress covers. [21 Quest, May 30 2012]

Just the needed acme products alone would send my taxes through the roof. |

You prefer having a pair of murderers on the loose? How much
tax money do you suppose the ensuing regional manhunt is
going to cost? |
|
|
Show them the Shawshank Redemption, The Wooden Horse, Great Escape... [-] |

Good idea, and would be better again if some characters dresses in cartoon costumes did live training, complete with sound effects... qua, qua, qau, qua, boinggggg! [+] |

Wouldn't the prisoners just paint a black circle on the
wall and escape through that? |
|

Was the hacksaw smuggled in inside a cake? If so, then I agree...[+] |

Or a very heavy looking cake containing an anvil. |
|
|
Guard: "What have you put in the cake? Any hash,
coke, speed, that sort of thing?"
Visitor: "Just an anvil."
Guard: "Oh, Advil... I guess that's all right then." |

Absinthe, those movies would certainly be good as part of the
curriculum, but they won't hold folks' attention as long as
cartoons. |
