Oh, I see. I thought this was an idea to cook food
using the engine from the East German automobile,
but then I realized that there was no way that engine
would be powerful enough to warm anything to more
than a few degrees above room temperature. |

Regarding the titular "Mucrowave", does this idea have something to do with the 12th letter of the Greek alphabet or lost technology from the lost continent of Mu that is not readily apparent to the average layman, like me? |

|
Otherwise, I think the trabant stirring system is an interesting innovation. I wonder though, if the carousel plate is mounted on an internally installed trabant, will the effectiveness of the microwaves be compromised as the focal point continues to oscillate in 3 dimensions? Conversely, if the entire microwave cabinet is mounted on an external trabant will this be a hazard on the standard kitchen counter? |

If you could even get the engine to run for the 4
minutes it takes to warm the soup. |

Since the microwaves are bouncing in many
directions, I would not see a problem. My bowl was
centrally located on the turntable and it seemed to
heat more(?) evenly than it would normally, due to
the stirring action. |

*thanks for the spelling correction. |

A West Berliner is driving his Mercedes deep into East
Germany when his windshield wipers go out in the
middle of a rainstorm. He takes
the car to a mechanic, who looks at it and says, Your
wiper motor needs to be replaced. There aren't any
spare parts in East Germany, so it'll be two weeks to
get one, if it's even possible to order it. But leave the
car with me for a couple of hours and I'll see what I
can do. |
|
|
So the guy leaves his car, and when he comes back,
the wipers are working perfectly! He says, I thought
you said you didn't have the wiper motor! The
mechanic replies, Well, I just used the engine from a
Trabant. |
