Caraoke Crowd

If you karioke in your car, but no one is around to hear it, have you really annoyed anyone?

With due credit to [taution]'s idea of Carioke (see link), I've decided to take it one step further. Using an FM-transmitting microphone, you can now sing along to your karioke tunes, and have a captive audience to boot! Anyone within one hundred feet of your car with their radio on, tuned to an FM station, will be subjected to YOUR version of the Ataris' version of Don Henley's "Boys of Summer".

The possibilities are endless.

"This next version of "Sweet Home Alabama" goes out to the big guy in the blue BMW who has been tailgating me with his brights on for the last 3 miles. Keep it up buddy...Madonna's next!"

hahahaha, now somebody has to listen to our band.

wait, is it possible to have multiple user-FM stations
dickity, Oct 25 2003

[dickity], it might be...what do you want to do? Have your actual band ride alongside each other? Then it's not exactly carioke, and I disapprove.

all of us would gather up our acoustics and play in the mic and broadcast. ya, it ain't exactly carioke, but we could play other singer's songs and people could sing along

       Welllllll...I'll allow it this once.

I visualize this as that scene of "My best friend's wedding" at the restaurant: little by little, people from other tables start singing along and joining in, until the whole restaurant is happily sharing the tune. The hard part: keeping the harmony. Still, excellent idea! Very funny ++
