Bun-nanza

A Takeoff of The TV Show "Bonanza"

Bun-nanza:

Bun Cartleft: (Ben Cartwright in the TV show) A gray rabbit who rides a buckskin cat.

Rabbun: (Adam in the TV show) A black bunny with a chestnut cat.

Katt: (Hoss in the TV show) A reddish-brown bunny with a brown cat.

Bunny Joe: (Little Joe in the TV show) A white bunny with a black and white painted cat.

The Cartlefts live on the Bunderosa in Rabbit City. They have thousands of Carrots (carrots are the currency). Rabbun and Katt often go on Hamster drives. The demeanors of the original characters and the bunnies are the same.

It would be a good childrens TV show, and would provide amusement for fans of the original TV series.

       Punanza.

Few children would get it (Bonanza was off the air before I was born and I've never actually seen it) but their parents might. But maybe not. Maybe if they were old parents.

Perhaps it would be strong enough to fly on its own without the remembrance of old TV shows past.

       Whoa.
bristolz, Jul 17 2003

[bris] It really doesn't matter whether the kids get it or not. I designed it to be a little kids show (like Tellatubbies or something). However, some might. The Hallmark Channel and PAX TV show Bonanza re-runs every day (mon-fri), so those who watch them, (like me) will get this.

blissy, if it's any consolation, the woman who played George Costanza's mom on Seinfeld has a dog named Pepsi. Yaps a lot.

Oh, yeah. Did I mention that you would train real animals for this show?
smileydudette, Jul 18 2003

[blissmiss], there's a bit of a screenplay there waiting to happen... don't be surprised if it does.

bliss, your story about pepsi is so sad. my ex. came home one night and decided to throw one of the lads teddys out of the window because he was "too old for such nonsense". I found him next day floating face down in the pond.

yeah, I did mean the teddy - shame that!

       Ahem.

8th of 7, Jul 18 2003

But what about the perils of Castle Anthrax? Can those be found here too??
vendetta, Jul 18 2003
