Instead of buying cubic watermelons for 10,000 Yen each (US $83) so they can fit in your rectangular refrigerator, why not make the refrigerator bulgy shaped so it can accommodate a few watermelons and other large fruits without wasting any space?

Sure, the outside of the refrigerator is now irregular and bulgy, but the outside surface is much easier to make use of. You can decorate it and post things on it, and it looks like an avant-garde piece of furniture instead of a big white box.
