Bubble watcher

This enlightened forum already discussed pot watchers (link), but since the cruel world out there is science based the eyeballs will not work except for cauldrons with magic potions. Therefore I suggest the science based bubble watcher. It consists of a microphone, signal processor, and buzzer. The device is packaged so it easily hooks onto the rim of any pot or hangs on the lid with a suction cup.

The signal processor analyzes the sound from the pot. When it hears popping bubbles at a preset frequency the buzzer goes off to warn the cook of an upcoming spill. If you are lucky enough to have a Bluetooth enable stove the device can adjust the heat by its own.

       [det] A thermometer doesn't work because of changes in atmospheric pressure, tried it, made a mess. A pressure gauge works, but you need a closed pot.
...and yes I was looking for widget that could sell Brookstones if someone would build it.

       I meant some sort of pressure gauge submerged in the liquid, but I know little about pressure gauges. Still, it would be kinda fun to clip on your own little "Bubble Watcher."

       [DN] I know, the words "bubble" and "bladder" sound kind of alike, but still the category (kitchen appliances) should have given you a hint that we don't do urinals here.   

       However, I have been thinking for a while now about a "Direct waste water recycling" appliance. Once it has wound its way through my head and guts I'll post it here so you can ask this question again.

       Why not a thermometer, and a pressure gauge for the AIR, and then a computer to calculate the right temp? Should be easy enough.
