Like sushi, but sugary, with, say, Captain Crunch. Like, say, a nice California roll, but also with a little raisin bran and a core of CocoPuffs. Or Cheerios and wasabi inside a seaweed roll. I imagine this sort of thing would go over well at a sushi bar that was open for breakfast.

       Uhm....no. Gross.

Maybe breakfast foods configured as sushi, but not combined with the regular ingredients. I could see sausage slivers and egg bits wrapped in really thin pancakes or something. But cereal in sushi? Sick. Sick, sick, sick. One might go so far as to call you a...cereal killer.

Not really so different from a breakfast burrito, 'cept the filling would be stickier to hold together & likely sliced into rounds like most sushi. I can't see how Captain Crunch or CocoPuffs would fit though. Rice Krispies maybe. Sticky them up and put slivers of strawberries in there & wrap it in maybe a paper thin slice of melon... maybe.

Maybe wrap a 'breakfast burrito' with seaweed, and slice sushi-style.

Like unagi, with its sweet delicious glaze? More of a dessert sushi than a breakfast item, although an unagi bento box would make an excellent breakfast.

Fish and rice Sushi are common for breakfast.

Fish and rice are fulfilling and very healthy.

Only bloated westerners are obsesed with starch and sugar for breakfast. Keep your coco puffs!

       Tuna and grape Jelly?

and my sisters used to think I put strange things in tuna, like oregano and greated cheese, or relish.

       ugh.

I've made sushi rolls with tamago (egg omelet) and fried smoked salmon skin (tastes like bacon). Served as temaki (handroll) it would essentially be a Japanese breakfast burrito.
