Improvement to bottled soda

I much prefer fountain Coke to the bottled or canned product. It’s somehow foamier (less carbonated?) and perhaps sweeter than its sealed counterparts. Is there more syrup? Different syrup? I don’t know, but I’m enjoying some right now. Yum!

Why can’t fountain soda be bottled and sold as such? It’s done with beer, although we know this to be an oxymoronic marketing ploy, right? It can’t be draft and bottled at the same time. Or can it?

By soda fountain, I don't mean some sort of old-time teen hangout where kindly "Pops" serves up milkshakes while wearing a white paper hat, but rather the machine out of which soda is dispensed - such as you see at a fast food restaurant or movie theater.

       Me too, but it's baked.

So this is like that whole guinness draught rocket widget deal, but for soda then? And I think RC Cola had a draught too.

Well, the rocket widget deals with the problem that Guinness Draught gets its fizz from nitrogen instead of carbon dioxide. That's not the problem that is targeted here.

I seem to recall reading that the fountain mix of Diet Coke uses a different sweetener than the canned version, I believe it has to do with shelf life of the sweetener. Maybe there are similar issues with the fountain formulas of the non-diet drinks. If so, you'd might have to pay a premium for your proposed product, because they might have to adopt alternative distribution methods to ensure it doesn't sit too long.
