Large stones connected by a cord and used to hold ponytail securely

Well, basically just your standard lumps of basalt the size of baseballs, connected by a rough cord of plaited rawhide. Installation of bolo on ponytail: the ponytailee holds the hair to be ponytailed extended whilst a friend or family member hurls the bolo at it. With good luck the bolo enwraps the ponytail; with bad luck it enwraps the neck and/or the stones crash into the cranium of the ponytailee. Oi, bad concussion there, ne'mine les' troi it again, mate.

When properly installed the Bolo Ponytail Fastener gives an air of indescribably rugged bon homie n'cest quoi pas to the wearer, who is too stunned to spell anything French.
