So you want clothing that accentuates your bulges? Doesn't seem very aesthetically pleasing to me. |
How tightly it's stretched is not equivalent to bulges, as garments are generally made to fit a generic shape. The tightness may reflect your deviation for the generic blueprint, or may again be a design feature. |

I like maps, so I've got to say this could produce an interesting effect. + |
Badish idea for general wear but could be good for trying styles and cuts of clothing on such as the difference between 2 pairs of jeans from different manufacturers |
Ummm...how does it change colors? |

"Oh Lydia, oh Lydia, say, have you met Lydia?
Lydia The Tattooed Lady.
When her muscles start relaxin',
up the hill comes Andrew Jackson.
Lydia, oh Lydia, that encyclo-pidia.
Oh Lydia The Queen of them all.
For two bits she will do a mazurka in jazz,
with a view of Niagara that nobody has.
And on a clear day you can see Alcatraz.
You can learn a lot from Lydia!"

Hmm, an outfit that turns into a giant relief map of the world. Sounds like something Star Jones or t he Weathergirls would wear. I'll take two. |
[yabba] - perspex under a polarized filter will show coloured stress fringes. Should be able to make use of this effect. |
Different colours in the warp and weft of the fabric might work, |
Naah - it would end up looking like a lava lamp. |
Also your map would always be 'about' the same. And the map wouldn't actually display any meaningful information at all. |
Ahh, if only every girl was a map of Twin Peaks Minnesota ... |
Come here, honey... I want to go "hiking". |
have you ever seen those squishy,
colour-changing balls? Perhaps
you can only buy them here, in
north america... |
In any case, it's a hollow colored
ball (mine is purple) made of a
rubber-like material that is highly
compressible and flexible. It feels
like I imagine a silicone breast
implant does before it's implanted.
When you squeeze it hard, the
orange/red fluid inside presses
against the purple rubber,
thinning it out and showing the
orange colour inside. The harder
you squeeze, the brighter it gets. |
Perhaps you could make use of
this principle; the only problem is
that it would be like wearing a
wetsuit with a liquid center. |
