Cars could be fitted with blue lights, they could be randomly activated to deter drivers from speeding. Cars could also be fitted with video cameras to record speeding. Such cameras are relatively cheap.

how does randomly activating a blue light deter speeding? further(rantmodeon) what is the big problem with speeding? why would I let a vehicle I bought and paid for be equipped with devices to control the use of said vehicle? can't we all find something better to worry about?(rantmodeoff).

I am told that fitting a yellow flashing light and writing *breakdown service* in big letters on the side of your van will avoid your having to pay congestion charges in London. Don't blame me if it doesn't work though.

By law, //emerge*r*ncy// vehicles are the only vehicles allowed to have blue lights.

Cars could be fitted with ice cream scoops, they could be randomly used to deter drivers from speeding. Or maybe pink parakeets. Don't see any reason why those would work, either.

Thumbwax, the law can be changed.

A Special executive branch orchestrated establishment of strict enforcement. Coming to a state near you: http://www.halfbakery.com/idea/Blue_20light_20special Don't take the law into your own hands. Vote for legislators who make the right laws.

"oh dear, theres a blue light in the rear view mirror"

"oh, dont worry, probably just a speed controller."

"why isnt this car getting out of the way!?"
