I have been toying around with the idea for an extremely slow aircraft for small rooms that:
A small child could fly (Ling?);
Has normal r.c. aircraft principles.
Most available designs tend to fly at about a fast walking pace which is too fast for flying up the stairs and in small rooms.
To
slow down the flight, I think the body and wings should be inflated and lighter than air, but the total aircraft should be slightly heavier than air. Then a slow forwards movement would be enough to produce lift.
Finally, I suppose the design is similar to having a streamlined blimp with wings.
(?) Same concept, different scale

Aside the perpetuum mobile - the external design looks right

Certainly might be more interesting than reading. Also could send "Bring more toilet paper" message to someone else in the house. |

in't this just a flavour of the flying helium-fish ? (though possibly predating it). |
