A network for bikers and advertisers to pair up and display ads or messaging on the backs of bicycle commuters. An added incentive for individuals looking for an excuse to bike to work, and a temporary place to put ads without the expense and permenancy of billboards.

Great for political campaigns, product endorsements, and seasonal shops (guy in gorilla suit riding bike with ad for Halloween store).

Foska: London Pride cycling top http://www.foska.co...Pride_Freeride.html
This is my cycling top, which I wear for approximately 6.5 hours every week while commuting through London's rush-hour traffic. Fuller's should pay me really... [hippo, Jun 23 2008]

Possibly not a bad idea. How would it work? Suppose you pick up your advertising jacket, take your £2 or whatever, and cycle off. Who checks that you continue to wear it?

Well, proof would be easy in London, don't they video everything with a million traffic cams?

So this would be good for selling products to bored CCTV camera operators .....

I'm not sure what it's like in other parts of the world but most people in the US would rather drive to work let alone need an excuse to get on their 2 wheeler.

I just arrived at work following a 45 minute cycle in tropical heat... the money could pay for a tall iced drink... there's an idea!
