Do you often have to loosen your belt after you sit down? Do you feel embarrassed when you have to try to "secretly" adjust it while on a bus, at a restaurant, etc? When you get up do you have to tighten it again? Then you need The Beltwinder Remote.
This is an electronic belt with a remote control
that you keep in your pocket. The remote control has two easy-to-distinguish buttons: loosen and tighten. Simply press a button and the belt will silently wind looser or tighter so you can enjoy a big meal without cutting off your circulation, or a quick sprint without worrying about your pants falling down.
Never wear ugly elastic pants again -- The Beltwinder Remote is here.

a) wear braces (UK) or suspenders (US).
b) get a stretch belt.
c) don't eat so much. |

//tighten//? don't let the wife get hold of the remote |

and what happens if someone hacks into your remote's
signal ? + |
|
|
Yeah...The signal must be weak, so it only works when within 3 inches of the belt buckle. |

Why would anyone need a remote?! How lazy does one have to be to have a remote when he/she could press a button on the belt, which would be maybe four cm away from one's pocket? How far can one person really get from her/his own belt? If anyone responds to the remote part of the invention with a disapproving taking of one's lord's name in vain, I suggest it be thoroughly hyphenated. |

Nice idea. However I recommend a new title for it. HALFBAKERY REMINDER TO DIET AND EXERCISE. (I say this as I nibble on some almonds at my desk). |

Even slim people can suffer from belt-itis. Sometimes putting the belt on a little tighter than your waist size is the only way to keep your pants up because you lost 20 more pounds and you are a size smaller. |
