Bell Rock
Rock music based on traditional bell ringing | |
We have had Classic Rock (loud amplified music played by symphony orchestra with electric bass guitar and drumkit), and we have had bagrock (amplified bagpipe music with electric bass guitar and drumkit) but I have not ever come across bell rock.
Could either be fitted to a carillon or a full-circle
ring. Each bell is fitted with an array of contact microphones, wired to a heavy duty sound system and a couple of massive speaker stacks taller than the tower. An elevated platform for the drummer and bassist. Searchlight-sized strobes and lasers.

Hmmm. I hadn't thought of combining these arts. |

Pipes and bells are particularly unsuited to each other. Wedding schedulers don't seem to be aware of this though. |
