There are few meals more satisfying than beans on toast, but until now there has been no device that will fully prepare this culinary delight.
Here's it works: The bread goes into the apparatus via a horizontal drawer, and travels under a set of heating elements. The next part of its journey brings
it to the beans dispenser. This consists of a reservoir attached to a type of hollow squeegee. The squeegee traverses the surface of the toast, delivering a precisely heated layer of the exact amount of baked beans required to cover the bread from edge to edge.
The perfectly prepared beans on toast emerge from another horizontal slot at the opposite side of the appliance, where a plate and a hungry customer have been eagerly waiting their arrival.
Super-duper, delux version creates simple "pixelated" baked-bean images on the toast from a menu of symbols, and icons.

I have never in a million years thought of combing
beans and toast. It doesn't even sound good. You
sure about this? It's like rice and beans yeah, but
beans and toast, not too much. Beans go well with
hot dogs too! |

Do an image search and be overwhelmed with the results. |

It's a British delicacy, and probably one of the most widely enjoyed meals in entire UK and Ireland. Also greatly enjoyed in the colony of Australia I believe. |

So turn a regular toaster on its side. I had a roommate in
college who made grilled cheese sandwiches that way. |

Hmmm, you may have just converted me, after
looking at the photos. The cheesy one looks
incredible. Now I'm hungry. And I'll bun the idea for
the hell of it. |

Ha - make sure you use only Heinz beans! Accept no substitutes, and don't overcook. Also I only toast the bread on one side, but that's just me. |

With very small pieces of toast, would it not be possible to electro-statically charge them, so they go under each bean? |

More proof that desperation (rather than necessity) is the true mother of invention. |

I can confirm that beans on toast is a staple in Canada and Australia. I still haven't taken to the Aussies serving up tinned spaghetti on toast for breakfast though. |

Baked. Well, the beans are. |

Perhaps this could be marketed as an add-on for 3D printers? |
|
|
Can it also make beans on waffle or bagel or Tortilla or pancake or Ritz cracker? |

Beans can be combined with rice and or diced vegetables,
and cheese can be added to the sauce. Beans alone is
pretty bland and limited in nutrition. Lots of fibre in that
too, adding cheese might slow it down so it actually
spends more than a few minutes in your intestines. |
