A booth on the beach that you walk in, press a button and you are sprayed all over with a sun tan lotion with SPF of your choice.

       Good idea, as long as it's quick dry, non-greasy lotion, otherwise you'll go out to the beach and attract sand.

       What I need is a booth I go into at the beach and it sprays me with something that makes me look ripped. And then washes off later. So I get chicks, but I don't end up on dialysis later in life.
DeathNinja, Jul 31 2003

       I'd probably be easier if you sprayed something in the chicks drinks to "make you look hot"....
SystemAdmin, Jul 31 2003

       ripped? [DeathNinja]?
lintkeeper2, Jul 31 2003

       Ripped is an American colloquialism meaning intoxicated.

       Skookum.

       Crepuscularium for that.
Shz, Aug 01 2003

       //Crepuscularium//[shz]. What a word! (is it a play on crepe?) I had to look it up, then imagined a club where working people gathered just before sunrise to celebrate the possibilities of the new day. The same club would meet as the sun set to rejoice/console in the experiences that were gained. I am probably nuts though.

       Zimmy, well, you may be nuts but so am I. It’s a play on the word ‘crepuscular’, the username ‘sunman’, and po’s ‘does my ??’ annotation. A crepuscularium in this context would apply lotion to body parts that are not usually in the sun (where the sun don’t shine). Hehe!

       //Join the crowd.//

       OK, too much language schtuff? I’ll back down. ‘tis an international forum.
Shz, Aug 01 2003

       [Shz]: I was actually referring to [Zimmy] being nuts. [Zimmy] is in good company here.
Cedar Park, Aug 01 2003

       Actually Cedar, you and Zimmy just got me to notice that some of the words I am using here are not easily recognizable internationally, and I’m going to stop doing it. Thanks to both of ya (legit).

       To further the interests of linguistic misunderstanding, I'm imagining [autosurgeon] applying sticky Greek deserts as a sunblock.
snarfyguy, Aug 01 2003

       So it’s not a food then?
Shz, Aug 01 2003

       Bala = Edible
clava = sunblock

       Don't ever back down from language stuff [Shz]. It's often the best stuff.
bristolz, Aug 01 2003

       Mmmm... autosurgeon with topping. Mmmm...
Shz, Aug 01 2003

       If ya say so bz, then it’s Old Kinderhook by me.
Shz, Aug 01 2003

       Mmmm... chilled autosurgeon with honey topping. Mmmm...
Shz, Aug 05 2003

       <hmmmph> I’ll be the one looking up that word.
