For a change of pace, why not take a large coach, one of the rolling palaces used by rock stars and old people in baseball caps, or even an old double decker, whatever, and remodel it to be a "super cool" rolling bar. It could pick up patrons at strategic designated places or at locations where existing customers want to get off, e.g. their hotel, apartment or next club. It could feature small cocktail tables, a cozy bar, a bartender with good balance and servers with even better balance. Like a train's bar car that does a bit more starting and stopping.

I guess it can be licensed? I've certainly enjoyed cocktails in limos and maybe (I'm a bit hazy here) even a chartered party coach. If there's a licensing distinction, it's charging for the drinks, but that could be overcome by a high (pun not intended) fare or cover charge.

Hopefully, if patron's were dropped at home, the unique bar would discourage drunk driving.

Annotation:

Not that I'm a binge-drinking sort of person, or anything, but isn't the sense of freedom one of the most important attractions of a night out getting drunk? And wouldn't this be ruined by being tied to a bus timetable?

Better tied to a bus timetable than a train turntable.
