Babble-On

Insist David Gray re-writes his hit - for safety reasons

Listeners may be aware of Mr David Gray's song 'Babylon' in which he continually refers to traffic light sequencing, and incorrectly states:

"Friday night I'm going nowhere All the lights are changing green to red"....

"Saturday I'm running wild And all the lights are changing red to green"

No mention at all of amber, or indeed flashing amber. I'm concerned that a whole generation will grow up with a complete disgregard for 'amber' and the need to exercise caution when approaching traffic lights at speed.

I therefore propose a re-drafting: "Friday night and I'm going nowhere All the lights are changing green to amber to red"

Result ! lives saved, lyrics enhanced !
