Awareness Awareness Day

The calendar (see link) is full of "awareness days" - so today, for example, is the International Children's Book Day and also the US National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day. What we lack however is an Awareness Awareness Day, which stresses the importance of being aware of more things, and celebrates being aware of interesting/important things. This day will also highlight the virtue of just being 'aware', receptive to experiences, seeing things outside one's normal view and being non-judgemental.

Will this day be given some publicity, or plans for it will it be kept in the back of a dusty filing cabinet under lock and key in a non-descript office building somewhere on Tatooine 6?

[8th] Yes, you could argue that there should be some effort to publicise, or raise awareness of, this day.

There should be made, a list of all commemorative days/weeks/months, ordered by apparent importance (duration, time of year, holiday/no, etc.) solely to find out where "Shark Week" fits in.
