Aviator suits for mosquitoes

Seeing as the evil buggers won`t leave me alone, they can at least provide some entertainment as they buzz my head at 2am

A range of aviator suits made of something very thin, like silk, graphene, or my grasp on reality.

Suits with little flying helmets and goggles available in Red Baron, Stuka pilot, Biggles etc

For ensemble performances a mini aerogel Zeppelin is available.

       That is an excellent idea.

I wonder if it would be possible to make very small model aircraft, powered by gluing bluebottles to the tiny engine-mounts?

I could of sworn this idea was posted by [xenzag].

But no! And having some difficulty getting Biggles's moustache to stay on...hold still damn you..

G-suits, with the pressure limiter disconnected ... listen to their tiny limbs cracking and crunching ... lovely.

But seriously, aerogel could be a bit handy in the human vs mosquito air battle re-enactment field..

Aerogel could be shot out of the blank firing model 88 to provide a reasonable facsimile of them flak bursts...using proximity fusing is not the act of a sportsman or gentleman

It could be collected up later with a butterfly net and re-used...

To quote many an actor, and some of the persons I've played tabletop roleplaying games with, "what's my motivation?"

At rest, they do look a lot like early aeroplanes - but their motion is quite different, and would tend to ruin the effect I'm afraid. []

// Aerogel could be shot out of the blank firing model 88 //

If it shoots something from the muzzle, other than a wad, it's by definition not "blank firing".

// using proximity fusing is not the act of a sportsman or gentleman //

No, it's the act of someone who loathes and detests mosquitoes and other bloodsuckers and disease vectors. Chemical warfare using nerve agents isn't exactly sporting either but it's a damned effective way of dealing with flying insects.

Added two more prior arts links, why should everyone else have the fun...

For aviation safety reason, you should also include light beacons, so you can avoid in air collision with mosquitoes.

It is kind of tricky get LED lights that small, and not sure if the CAA regs really cover this...

Closest I can get is if a large mosquito drones enough, it might be covered by Crimes against Music Act, subsection 14.2 Bagpipes, of 1892.
