The main idea is having a system that can automatically do all your Christmas shopping for you.
This website maintains a database of all the people you usually give presents to; for each person, it records all the presents that you gave this person before and it also records as much information as
you are willing to give or as little as age and gender.
Whenever you want, you can automatically generate a gift list for everybody you usually give presents to, based on the information held in the database. The system will suggest 3 gifts one cheaper, other medium priced (default) and another more expensive for each person in the list, then you can accept the default gift, choose another suggestion or reject all the proposals and ask for more suggestions or definitely reject all the proposals for that person.
After having a gift list defined, you can choose to buy online (on this website) or not each of the gifts. For each of the gifts that you have chosen to buy online, you can opt to have a simple delivery by mail, with a present package including a tag saying to who and from whom, or to have the gift specially delivered by a guy dressed like Santa Claus.
You can also use this website for gifts in every other occasions, for example birthdays, with the advantage that every gift will be recorded in the database and then you can easily avoid giving the same present twice.

Nice, although I'm sure that Amazon does almost all of this. Still, I suppose it's the combination of the concepts that's the idea here, so bun. |

Interesting idea. It would probably include an urgency fee for those people that leave everything for the last minute. And it would put away all that crap about Christmas spirit and work as a definitive statement that Christmas is nothing more than an economy driver. I like it. |

Gift cards are the dumbest invention since spam email. If you're going to get me something, don't waste your time restricting me to the store of your choice so half of my purchase power can expire in fees, just throw some cash at me and be done. Else, put some real thought into your gift. If someone invented the gift card here I'd fishbone it. |
