Automan

The automatic Ottoman!

Put simply, this is a cross between a floor jack and an Ottoman, controlled by Bluetooth. The Automan, at its lowest setting, is only 6 inches tall. A telescoping hydraulic jack assembly, powered by D-cell batteries with a stow-away compartment to hold the optional AC adaptor, can be activated to raise the cushion up to 4 feet, and can be stopped and locked at any point between. If the included remote control is ever lost or you don't feel like looking for it, it can be controlled from your cellphone via Bluetooth, using a free downloadable app. Setting profiles can be recorded to a speed dial list for quick automatic adjustment to your favorite height.

A pun in search of an idea?

Just because the name fits, doesn't mean that it's a pun. It's the perfect name for this product.

The second link is pretty neat, but doesn't say anything about adjustable height. It's either open, or it's closed. And the TV neccesitates a larger size than I prefer. Note that mine can be made as low as 6 inches, which also can be used as a remote- control stepstool elevator, with enough power supplied.

And it started as an idea in search of a punny title to do it justice and make it fit for the Bakery.

Does it have a flashing light and beeping sound when activated?
