Auto Colour Tie
A tie that automatically changes colour to match your shirt. | |
Got a wardrobe full of ties, throw them out and get one of these. A tie that has tiny lcd panels woven into the cloth on the front of the tie, at the back several small CCD's.
You put on the tie, the CCD's at the back of the tie scan the colour/pattern of the shirt, these patterns are processed
and the LCD panels illuminate with a contrasting colour/pattern giving the effect of a perfectly matched shirt and tie.
A slightly advanced version might subtley change patterns and hues throught the day.

Didn't we do this one time? |
|

If we did, find the link. If the link is gone, its moot, isn't it? |

You might be thinking of "Transparent Tie Patterns" which is aimed at the same problem but is a wholly different solution. See upper right. |

I remember posting "chameleon clothing" eons back. Same concept. I think the link is still there. |

//[Malakh] clothing that can change pigmentation with a remote, using a similar technique to that of a chameleon. probably would be dry clean only.// |

Not quite the same really, is it. |

The Porsche changes colours to match customers tie ? |

WIZ "Can you even dye my eyes to match my gown ?" |

This is cool, but it could do much more than simply contrast with the underlying shirt. It could, for instance, match the shirt perfectly, octopus-style, for stealth tie-wearing. Or it could display a moving image of a waterfall, or a succession of climbing beetles. |
