Set up a business which launches a satellite complete with a particle accelerator. Position satellite according to clients' wishes, for example over the opening ceremony of a World Cup or Olympics. At the climax of the show, start up the accelerator, mimicking a particularly strong blast of solar wind.
This interacts with the upper atmosphere, creating aurorae. With enough practice and accumulated knowledge of atmospheric physics, the wisps of light could form words, such as "Welcome Olympians!" or "Drink Stella Artois". Or both.

That's a really nice link, rmutt. I've heard a lot of bollocks about HAARP from the UFO/conspiracy nuts, so this is good info. |

I hadn't seen this before. Can't believe that Meier: "Even though the HAARP tests are still at a low level, the program is already triggering floods, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and stormy weather conditions". Does he really believe that? How? Bet he thinks NASA edits shuttle pix of UFOs too. Oh yeah, and the Moon landings were faked. Worrying. |

I have to admit, I'm disappointed... I thought this idea was going to be something to do with the (top secret doesn't officially exist who told you about it I bet you saw it on the X-Files) "Aurora" spy plane, being used to tow messages in the sky, such as "Anne-Marie will you marry me?". |

I had exactly the same thought [kmlabs]. |

Great minds, [Doc]. Oh, and please: call me km. =) |
