A vehicle is made that is super-lightweight and energy efficient (I'm thinking of the solar racers or the extreme fuel efficiency contest vehicles).
The outside of the vehicle is covered in microphones. As the ambient noise hits the vehicle it is converted to electrical energy, which (via a bank of
capacitors) powers the vehicle.
Works best in noisy environments. To go faster, start shouting.
We may as well include this safety measure...
