Like it - I once saw a show where they tuned a Formula 1 car to play "God Save The Queen" using a computer to control the engine throttle. More industrially generated music please! [+] |

I've heard a fair amount of music incorporating or even
composed entirely using industrial sounds. Ben Burtt did a
lot of complimentary score in Pixar's 'WALL-E' using
machine noises to emulate 'singing' robots. This post
immediately brought that to my mind. |

Yea, I think that's pretty cool, but to have the musical assembly line actually make something tangible, like a bottle or plastic case would be fun. |

Of course a cheap way to do it would be to mic all the existing noise making parts and just auto-tune them appropriately. |

Yes, sorry, I forgot to add that the idea is indeed very
cool. In fact, the whole anno was sort of leading up to that
but I got distracted. Slightly belated bun.

[+] I love this idea, but it might be easier to implement
with the Anvil Chorus, which I think might also be a
legitimate choice. I sort of envision it as a metal
stamping machine and a bunch of robot-arm pneumatic
impact wrenches operating at different speeds. |
