Surely now with the advent of fantastic computer graphics and artificial intelligence, these two diciplines could be combined to generate soap operas for public consumption. I mean they couldn't be any worse than what we have now, could they? Maybe they could be cyclic with a seamless joining of the beginning plot, with the end over, say, a ten year cycle. I'm beginning to quite worry myself.

Halfbaked on Futurama: "All My Circuits", starring Calculon. An all-robot soap opera.

Don't tell anyone that the story is computer generated. Make it a Turing test.

This reminds me of the practice of generating trashy novels and pornography with (mechanical) machines for the proles in 1984.
