Take your typical arcade game, and make it pay out money based on your points/wins. Instead of relying on randomness, it is based on skill.
For greater odds, fighter games would be ideal. No one really knows how much damage your computer opponent will do, adding the randomness back.

Most people who are gambling at slot machines are just short of catatonic, moving as little as possible. To play, they would have to think, and move. People who like playing vids play them anyway, and they pay. |
