Idea seeds:
- Slashdot article on Google's audio listen-in to figure out what tv show you are watching
- when bored on trips I would sometime watch the building across the way from the hotel to see how many people were watching the same show on Tv based on the light pattern eminating from their
windows at night.
I Know What You Are Watching...
Train a webcam on a building to do exactly that.. en mass and automatically. Figure out what the TV's are tuned to by comparing the light 'beats' from grouped pixels ( i.e. apartments) to current broadcasts and/or a database of movies and tv shows ( in case of Tivo) etc.

Mkay, I don't think that's called market research.Anyroad,just use a central signal box in each building to determine the output of each channel. |
