There might be a market for a timepiece that signals with a ring or vibrations and a line of text, several times a day, that on that same date and time a momentous event occurred, such as 9/11, the moon landing, the tsunami catastrophe, the ends of world wars, world leader assassinations, etc.
Personal,
poignant occurrences could also be input for future remembrance. The second hand would come to a halt for a moment of thought before catching up with present time.

My PDA does this. Sort of. Kind of. I do like the moment of remembrance though, then time catching back up. Very nice. |
