Alzheimer's Cheese Block is a large piece of cheese that has been
manufactured in the shape of a human brain. When you slice into
it, irregular holes are revealed (similar to those found in Swiss
Cheese)

Nice idea - wrong disease. |
You're thinking of CJD - a spongiform
encephalopathy. Alzheimer's is characterised by a
general shrinkage of the brain and, on a microscopic
scale, the formation of protein aggregates. |
I'll throw in walnut grains to represent the protein aggregates. |
yeah, i'll second the mfd: unspecified but obvious, it still touches on "gross out humour" though it's not funny, and "cruelty" in the form of mockery. |
You could start up a "Straight to MFD" list post, if you can't think of any other outlet for sour brain-drizzle. |
On reflection, I have decided to keep it. [FlyingToaster] Your version can have no diseases, blue Stilton for the cerebellum, and an avocado for the basal ganglia. |

In Brie-f, an ideal opportunity for yet more cheese puns. [+]. |
Anyone who revives the cheese-pun phenomenon
ought to go and crawl under a rock. I've got a
roquefort you both right here. |

How'bout Dysentery Soup: onion soup, served in a bedpan: |
or Anne Frank Chicken Poppers: purposefully and systematically tortured and starved chicks, served char-broiled. Yumyum ! |
Ebola Steak ? divots taken out of a cut and removed, the edges then charred, served raw and bleeding. |
Nigger Nuggets for deep fried oxen-testicles ? |
A cheese shaped like a brain has some entertainment value; one made specifically to mock people with a debilitating terminal illness that robs them of their essence before killing them, not so much, I'm thinking. |
But hey, maybe it's just me. |

My guess is that eating a CJD brain raw would give you the disease. Does an Alzheimer's brain also transmit a disease if eaten raw ? (Cow or pig brains for the non cannibals.) |
I really shouldn't be contributing to this, but, the pun you're looking for, is it Mozzarellabellum? |
I'm bettin it's Mozzarellabellum. |
//My guess is that eating a CJD brain raw would give you the disease. Does an Alzheimer's brain also transmit a disease if eaten raw ?// |
Yes. It's called Kuru. It became endemic in a population which ritually ate their dead. (This was likely CJD rather than Alzheimer's, but the diagnosis is one of scale - apparently a proportion of Alzheimer's patients are really CJD.) |
Incidentally, cooking doesn't prevent transmission of CJD. Even *autoclaving* wouldn't. |
Notwithstanding the egregious error of confusing CJD with Alzheimer's, this idea still raises to our consciousness the massive public benefit that would arise from every cheese vendor also having a
mini-CNC machine which would be used to tool a lump of cheese into the shape of the purchaser's head. |
And the beauty of it is the cheese swarf produced by the cheese CNC machine can be recycled in the nearby molten-cheese 3D printer. |
