Alphabrella

Alphabrella are ordinary black umbrellas apart from one distinguishing feature: they each have a different letter of the alphabet printed large on their outside surface.

This means that when you buy one you have to make a choice of which letter to display. It also means that groups of Alphabrella owners can arrange to meet up and use their unique umbrellas to spell out words, or entire sentences, and dance around foolishly in the rain as they do so.

Why they would want to do this, I have no idea, but social media enables many manifestations of halfbaked activities and knows no boundaries.

Annotation:

I thought this was going to be a kind of take charge umbrella, that all the other umbrellas would want to follow. Duh. (I like your idea though.)

Ha - I like your logic. You can come in and play at my house! (bring balloons and beer)

Just 26 choices, or are we going full Unicode?

In China there will be more.... many, many, more

Dang, missed the sale rush again. Nothing left on the shelves but Qs.

Would looking down at a busy plaza in the rain yield a frequency table view similar to ETAONRS etc.?

       Fun idea.

Qs will be popular [RayfordSteele] when the Queen is around.

You mean "R", shirley? The identity of "Q" is a closely- guarded secret.

I made it to the sale - but left because the Qs were too long.

Just be glad you weren't in line for the Numberellas.

Norm, you could probably show the probability density in a waterfall chart.
