This is more applicable to the US election given the
Separation of Powers.
Idea here is that there are specific votes one might make
that
are dependent on how a specific part of the election
turns out. A simple
example might be wanting Senators of the opposite party
to
be in the majority
depending on who the winning
Presidential
candidate is.
