AI better mouse trap

In case you didn't know...

As an AI language model, I can provide some suggestions for making a better mouse trap that currently does not exist. Here are some ideas:

Ultrasonic Mouse Repellent Trap - This type of trap uses ultrasonic waves to repel mice instead of killing them. It emits high-frequency sound waves that are unpleasant for mice, causing them to flee from the area.

Smart Mouse Trap - A smart mouse trap could be designed to detect and trap mice while providing real-time alerts to the owner via their smartphone. The trap could use a combination of sensors, cameras, and AI algorithms to detect the presence of mice and trigger the capture mechanism.

Live Capture Mouse Trap - A live capture mouse trap could be designed that is humane and allows you to capture and release mice outside. The trap could use bait to attract the mice, and once they enter, a door would close and trap them inside.

Biodegradable Mouse Trap - A biodegradable mouse trap could be designed that is eco-friendly and does not contribute to plastic waste. This trap could be made from biodegradable materials, such as bamboo or other plant-based fibers.

Multiple Catch Mouse Trap - A multiple catch mouse trap could be designed that captures several mice at once, reducing the need for multiple traps. This type of trap could be ideal for commercial or large-scale applications.

Scent-Based Mouse Trap - A scent-based mouse trap could be designed that uses a mouse's natural instincts to trap them. The trap could use a scent that mimics the smell of a mouse's natural habitat to attract them to the trap, making it more effective than traditional traps.

These are just a few ideas for a better mouse trap. Ultimately, the design of the trap would depend on the specific needs and preferences of the user.

================

As an AI language model, I can summarize some of the entries related to a "better mousetrap" or "better mouse trap" that are present on halfbakery.com. Here are some of the ideas:

The Holey Mousetrap - This is a trap that uses a series of small holes in a tube to lure the mouse into the trap. Once inside, the mouse is trapped and can be safely released outside.

The Clean Mouse Trap - This is a trap that uses a vacuum to capture the mouse instead of killing it. The mouse is then stored in a detachable container, which can be safely emptied outside.

The Electro-Magnetic Mouse Trap - This is a trap that uses electromagnetic fields to lure and capture mice. Once inside, the mouse is trapped and can be safely released outside.

The Stair-Stepper Mouse Trap - This is a trap that uses a series of stair-stepper-like steps to trap the mouse. Once inside, the mouse is trapped and can be safely released outside.

The Multiple-Capture Mouse Trap - This is a trap that can capture multiple mice at once, reducing the need for multiple traps.

The Biodegradable Mouse Trap - This is a trap made of biodegradable materials that can safely decompose after use.

These are just a few examples of the "better mousetrap" or "better mouse trap" entries that are present on halfbakery.com. There are many more ideas and variations available on the website, which can provide inspiration for anyone looking to design a more effective and humane mouse trap.

AI has nothing new to offer which we wouldn't think of ourselves given time.

No intuition. Intuition makes no sense to them.

I ain't going down that road again. Don't much care who's with me.

       Just ain't doing it again.

       Who's with me?!

       oh, just me... well then...

catch up with me later if you are still able.

//has nothing new to offer which we wouldn't think of ourselves given time. //

You can say that of literally any person.

Live capture mouse traps already exist. I have used one.

I am not going to rule out AI being used to invent new things in future, but that's not what is happening here. [-].

       [-] I don't want to read machine generated pseudo-content.

I knew a highly educated and highly literate person who refused, as a point of principle, to look things up in dictionaries, encyclopedias, or reference books. Instead, they would find a person to ask. It was OK for the person being asked to look it up - the entire point was to use the quest for knowledge as a way of prompting and enriching human interaction. It was very irritating at times but I think it was less irritating than this synthetic text generating thing.

And the new halfbaked idea is?

The day ChatGPT comes up with a bunworthy idea, I'll bun it.

I just thought it would be funny to ask CrapGPT. And shared it with you. I see you all didn't enjoy it, at least as much as I didn't enjoy it.

I recently wrote a Sci Fi story about a fish in the sunken submarine Dakar that got electrocuted by an electric eel and began to understand how to read. First books, then connecting itself to a working radio. From there, with the help of an octopus electrocuted as well but with a weird kind of intelligence, they were able to create a modem and connect to the internet.

My wife asked me if this story is mine, or from AI. :-(

// AI cannot come up with anything original?//

As long as your definition of "original" is "it came from a human mind" that's true. Do you have an origin neutral definition of originality?

Maybe because your wife thought you'd know that radio waves don't propagate under water?
