3 Sleeve Coat is a coat with a third sleeve placed
equidistantly from the other two sleeves, meaning that
it's
totally impossible to put it on incorrectly by accidentally
placing the right arm in the left sleeve, or vice versa.
Of course it must also be a sort of pull over the head
coat,
except with the added provision of three zips placed
equidistantly (again) between the sleeves for easier
divestment. The collar is also correspondingly divided
into
three segments. The unused sleeve can be rolled up, or
used as a type of captured scarf in the winter.

The 3 sleeves would be separated by 120 degrees no? Which
means each arm would be bent forward or backward by 15
degrees at the shoulder. Forward would be OK, a little
hunchbacked perhaps, backward would be a somewhat ski-
jump or high dive orientation. Why not 4 sleeves? Then the
shoulders can be at a more natural angle, and you could get
away with only two zips. |

The real problem is remembering which pocket you left your
keys in. |

Won't this idea simply asymptote to a poncho? |

That's if you start removing sleeves, OR adding lots and then
sewing them together. |

//The 3 sleeves would be separated by 120
degrees no? // Wider sleeves will take care of
that.//Why not 4 sleeves?// Too obvious and not
halfbaked enough for my taste. |

We suggest making the garment as two identical, separable sides - thus having a duplicate closure at both "front" and "back". In fact, there is no front or back - they're the same. |

Then, whichever way round you put it on, it's always correct. |

Would an octopode version have 9 or 24 sleeves? |

Thankyou for clarifying that. |
