2 stroke E-V6, E-boxta, E-inline8

electric linear piston engine(s)

This array of engines, use not 3ft/sec, not 6ft/sec, nor even 100ft/sec, but 30m/sec linear pistons powered each by the discharge of 22,000uF capacitors, charged by 100kWh battery pack. Apart from the pistons operating in a vaccuum and there being no gas to transfer (hence, no need for four stroke) the remainder of the mechanics of the engine are very similar to a petrol engine. This provides the 'mouthfeel' and rumble of a petroleum car with some of the efficiency and emissions qualities of an electric.

Hang on. Are you driving the pistons as linear motors within the "cylinders"?

Something about the title hinted to me that I would have no idea what this idea is about. At all...

I think what he's talking about is this. You can get linear electric motors, which slide rather than turning. You could therefore use them to drive pistons up and down, as a sort of petrol-less petrol engine. It wouldn't be very efficient, but it would give you a sort of growly electric vehicle.

following a centrifugal diaper loading, a drive in a 2-stroke e-v6 is the best way to put a baby to sleep.

Yes, but would it be able to reach the pedals?
